  • Flywheel Challenge: 4 Flywheel classes per week (16 classes total)

GET TO KNOW YOUR INSTRUCTOR COACH

Your coach will be a wheel or barre instructor who teaches at your home studio. He or she will host two check-ins during the Challenge, provide optional weigh-ins or measurements, and will be able to address any questions you may have. Your instructor coach will also send you a weekly email with fitness and nutrition tips.

Challenge nutritionists Stephanie Clarke, MS, RD and Willow Jarosh, MS, RD of C&J Nutrition are co-owners of a private practice in New York City, contributing editors at SELF magazine, bloggers for Huffington Post, and authors of the Healthy, Happy Pregnancy Cookbook (summer 2016). Every Challenge includes:

  • Easy-to-follow guidelines for clean eating
  • A 28-day meal plan with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options, recipes and more local dine-out suggestions than ever before
  • A food journal and shopping list

MEMBER PRICING 

Unlimited Wheel/Barre/Plus+ members can purchase a $100 Challenge add-on. If you’re a member in NYC, the Challenge add-on is $125. Note that:

  • Challenge classes are included in the monthly membership fee. The $100 add-on price covers additional program features.
  • Wheel or barre members who are interested in taking the FlyPlus+ Challenge must upgrade to a FlyPlus+ Membership before being eligible for the Challenge add-on. The 3-month commitment will be waived.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which Challenge is right for me?
Both the Flywheel and FlyBarre Challenges have proven to be effective programs with real results. The Flywheel Challenge is optimal for those looking to burn calories, boost endurance and improve cardiovascular health. The FlyBarre Challenge is optimal for those looking to tone and sculpt, improve core strength, and increase muscular stamina. When done together, the two methods will produce an overall body transformation.

What if I’m a member and want to participate in the Challenge?
Simply purchase the appropriate Challenge add-on on the buy page. If you have an unlimited Flywheel or FlyBarre monthly membership, and want to participate in the Plus+ Challenge, you must upgrade to a Plus+ membership first. Then, you can purchase the Fly Plus+ Challenge add-on for $100 ($125 for NYC members). For detailed instructions on upgrading to a Plus+ membership, please contact our billing department at help@flywheelsports.com.

What if I can’t attend the kick-off event?
No worries. You can pick up your nutrition plan, schedule a later time to meet your instructor coach, and plan weigh-in and measurement meetings.

What can I expect in the workshop?
The Flywheel workshop is a 45-minute in-studio class that covers bike setup, positions, perfecting the arms sequence, and drills that will help you become more efficient on the bike. The FlyBarre workshop is a 45-minute condensed version of the standard 60-minute class, which provides an overview of the proper form and alignment for some of the most common FlyBarre exercises. You’ll leave with personalized tips to work more efficiently and achieve the best results in class.

How are FLYPals matched?
You’ve got options! You and a friend can sign up to be FLYPals after you both purchase the Challenge (remember, you’ll each get 15% off!) or you can ask a studio manager or the front desk how to get involved. Whether or not you sign up with a friend, you’ll receive information on how to request to be paired with a FLYPal after purchasing. You’ll then be asked to fill out a short questionnaire so we can find the right pal for you.

What do I do with my FLYPal?
You can ride or pulse together, help wake each other up for Dawn Patrol classes, share tricks for sticking to your meal plan, discuss recovery tips, grab a healthy snack after class, or try out your FLYPal’s favorite instructor! If you request a FLYPal, we’ll send you additional info.  Click HERE to check out how past FLYPals found success!

Who chooses my classes each week?
You do! Simply book and adjust your classes as needed on the Flywheel website or iOS app. Remember, Challengers are able to book one day in advance, at 5:00 PM on Saturdays.

What does “priority status on wait lists” mean?
If you are placed on a wait list in any particular class, you will automatically be moved to the top of the wait list. This helps give you a better shot of getting into your favorite classes! If there are multiple Challengers on a wait list, you will be placed in the order in which you booked.

What if I don’t use all of my classes?
Life happens. In the event that you’re unable to use all your credits during the Challenge, they will expire on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Our weekly class recommendations will help you get the best results possible, but you can adjust your schedule as needed.
