Instructor Emily Burkhardt sets out to interview members of the FLY community–from instructors, to staff members, to riders. What does Flywheel mean to them? And how do they find joy in their day-to-day? This week, meet rider Penelope Noble.

Inspirational is an understatement when talking about Penelope “Polly” Noble.
I met Polly over a year ago when she came and took my class for the first time. I convinced her within the next few weeks to join one of our Flywheel Challenges, knowing that I would get to spend more time with her.
Since meeting Polly, I have gotten to know her, her friends, and even her family very well, because she has brought them into my life through Flywheel.
Which brings me to my next point…I am always so impressed by Polly’s schedule. If she isn’t at school teaching, or at Flywheel taking wheel or barre, she is packing her schedule with fun adventures that include her family and friends.
I figured this week is a perfect week to feature Miss Polly, because she will be getting married this weekend! As a bride-to-be myself, I can not even imagine the excitement that is going on in Polly’s head. Plus, she has hit all of her personal goals before the big day–how inspiring?!?!
What first brought you to Flywheel?
I have always been uncomfortable in and with my body so I decided it was time to change that. I started going to Flywheel regularly starting April 2016, and then about a month after that, I got engaged so that gave me an additional boost of energy and determination.
What do you do?
I am a preschool teacher and love being in the classroom!
How does Flywheel make you feel?
It makes me feel strong and confident. I finally feel good about my body and that is a very important and special feeling!
What does living a healthy lifestyle mean to you?
It means so much to me now that I have made choices to live that way. I feel better, lighter, happier and more confident in myself.
What brings you joy?
Spending time with my family and friends, and eating french fries!
Friends, Family and French Fries. The 4 F’s to many people’s lives!
Don’t forget to say hello and a big congrats to Polly if you see her around the studio the next few weeks!
Peace & Love,
