Five years ago, I thought that I in the best shape of my life. I felt healthy and confident and I was up for any fitness challenge that came my way. But then the aches and pains began. What I initially chalked up to “getting older” and muscle fatigue was eventually diagnosed as osteoarthritis, a form of arthritis that causes pain, swelling and reduced motion in joints, such as hips. I was devastated. My hard-earned fitness routine and long anticipated plans to try Flywheel were abruptly put on hold. I underwent a bilateral hip replacement. Meet The Instructors of Flywheel Sunnyvale

We’re noticing a trend out in Sunnyvale, California… the city known as Yahoo! headquarters, is not only a Bicycle Friendly Community, but also home of one our our most recently opened Flywheel studios.  And it’s getting some buzz. FLYFUEL: Texas Instructor Thomas Renner

Flywheel Texas vet Thomas Renner began his career with Flywheel in September of 2013 as a part-time instructor. These days, he’s a lead instructor in the region, kicking off his mornings with Dawn Patrol classes filled with some of his most hardcore riders! When he’s not flying, Thomas can be found at the gym, running outside, or reading up on fitness and nutrition. As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, he enjoys helping others strive to be the best they can be – both in and out of the stadium. Known for his “Rennergy,” he places extreme value on his health.
