Little-known fact about Flywheel LA Master Instructor Victor Self: he’s been obsessed with fitness ever since teaching aerobics in ’88 (throwback to leg warmers, neon headbands, and scrunch socks!). Fast-forward 27 years – and dozens of trends later – and the Virginia native has turned his passion into a family affair. Self has not only built a tight-knit community in the Flywheel studio, but at home as well: both he and his Flywheel-obsessed husband Chris look forward to seeing their two young daughters teach one day.

Living by his mantra, “sweat with gratitude daily,” Victor is always training hard and living life to the fullest. Here are the gym bag staples that accompany him on his journey.
