INSTRUCTOR COACH
Your coach will be a wheel or barre instructor who teaches at the studio that’s most convenient for you. He or she will host two check-ins during the Challenge, provide optional weigh-ins or measurements, and will be able to address any questions you may have. Your instructor coach will also send you an email each week with fitness and nutrition tips.

NUTRITION
Stephanie Clarke, MS, RD and Willow Jarosh, MS, RD of C&J Nutrition are co-owners of a private practice in the heart of New York City, contributing editors at SELF magazine, bloggers for Huffington Post, creators of national workplace wellness programs, and authors of the upcoming book Healthy, Happy Pregnancy Cookbook (summer 2016).

The Get Fit With FLY Challenge nutrition component includes:
  • A 28-day meal plan with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options, plus recipes and dine-out suggestions for individuals and families
  • A food journal

  • Weekly nutrition tips
  • Access to C&J Nutrition to address questions via a weekly group conference call

CLASSES
We recommend that you take up to 4 classes per week during the Challenge if you are participating in the Flywheel or FlyBarre Challenge, and up to 6 classes per week (3 Flywheel and 3 FlyBarre) if you are participating in the Fly Plus+ Challenge.

PRICING 

  • You can purchase a Challenge on your location’s buy page from Sunday, January 10th to Friday, January 22 (Log in to your account HERE).
  • Classes may be used from Monday, January 25 through Sunday, February 28. See the FAQs for additional info.

Member Pricing 

  • Unlimited Wheel/Barre/Plus+ members can purchase a $100 Challenge add-on. If you’re a member in NYC, please note the Challenge add-on is $120.
  • Challenge classes are included in the monthly membership fee. The $100 add-on price covers additional features, from the nutrition plan to workshops, and more.
  • Flywheel or FlyBarre members who are interested in taking the Fly Plus+ Challenge must upgrade to a Fly Plus+ Membership before being eligible for the Challenge add-on.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Which Challenge is right for me?
Each of our programs is designed to help you feel and look your best. Both the Flywheel and FlyBarre Challenges have proven to be effective programs with real results. The Flywheel Challenge is optimal for those looking to burn calories, increase endurance and improve cardiovascular health. The FlyBarre Challenge is optimal for those looking to tone and sculpt, improve core strength, and increase muscular stamina. When done in conjunction, the two methods will produce an overall body transformation!

How do I purchase?
You can purchase any of the Challenges on your location’s buy page.

What if I’m a member and want to participate in the Challenge?
Simply purchase the appropriate Challenge add-on on the buy page. The add-on fee is just $100 to participate in the Flywheel, FlyBarre or Plus+ Challenge, and $120 for NYC members. If you have an unlimited Flywheel or FlyBarre monthly membership, and want to participate in the Plus+ Challenge, you must upgrade to a Fly Plus+ membership first (the 3-month commitment will be waived). Then, you can purchase the Fly Plus+ Challenge add-on for $100 ($120 for NYC members). For detailed instructions on upgrading to a FLY Plus+ membership, please contact our billing department at help@flywheelsports.com.

What if I can’t attend the kick-off event?
No worries. You can pick up your nutrition plan, schedule a later time to meet your instructor coach, and plan weigh-in and measurement meetings.

What can I expect in the workshop?
The Flywheel workshop is a 45-minute in-studio class that covers bike setup, positions, perfecting the arms sequence, and drills that will make you sweat. The class will help you become more efficient on the bike and is great for both beginners and advanced riders. The FlyBarre workshop is a 45-minute condensed version of the standard 60-minute class, which provides an overview of the proper form and alignment for some of the most common FlyBarre exercises. You’ll leave with personalized tips to work more efficiently and achieve the best results in class.

What is included in the nutrition component of the Challenge? 
You’ll get a nutritional overview from C&J Nutrition, daily meal options, a grocery list, delicious recipes, and access to a nutritionist to address questions via a weekly conference call. Plus, for the first time ever, we’re including healthy, C&J-approved dining options at our favorite local spots.

What is the FLYPal program? 
Our FLYPal program is designed for those of you who are looking for a workout buddy to keep you motivated. Studies show that working out with a buddy helps you achieve your fitness goals and makes the entire journey more fun!

How do I sign up to be a FLYPal and how will I be matched?
You have two options—you can sign up to be a FLYPal after you purchase your Challenge add-on or speak with a studio manager or front desk club coordinator and ask how to get involved. Once you have signed up, you will receive information on how to request to be paired with a FLYPal. As part of the process, you’ll be asked to fill out a short questionnaire so we can find the right pal for you.

What do I do with my FLYPal?
Team up with your FLYPal whenever you need extra motivation. Take class together, help wake each other up for Dawn Patrol classes, share tricks for sticking to your meal plan, discuss recovery tips, grab a healthy snack after class together, or try out your FLYPal’s favorite instructor! If you request a FLYPal, we’ll send you additional info.

How should I use the guest credits?
We encourage you to bring a friend on your journey not once, but twice, during the Challenge. In your Challenge packet, you’ll receive two complimentary guest credits so that you can bring someone along for extra support. Challenge guest credits expire on Monday, February 22, 2016.

Can I choose my own classes each week?
Of course! Simply book and adjust your classes as needed on the Flywheel website or iPhone app. Challengers are able to book one day in advance, at 5:00 PM on Saturdays.

What if I don’t use all of my classes?
In the event that you’re unable to use all your credits during the Challenge, they will expire on Sunday, February 28, 2016. Our weekly class recommendations are to help you get the best results possible, but you can adjust your schedule as needed.

What does “priority status on wait lists” mean?
If you are placed on a wait list in any particular class, you will automatically be moved to the top of the wait list. This helps give you a better shot of getting into your favorite classes! If there are multiple Challengers on a wait list, you will be placed in the order in which you booked.

What are my weekly gifts?
They’re a surprise, but based on feedback from our FLYers, we think you’ll love them (hint, hint: one will allow you to get out of a ding, for free!) We’ll be announcing them in weekly emails, so keep an eye out.
