How to Maintain Healthy Post-Workout Momentum

Being crazy crunched for time after a tough workout shouldn’t stop you from maintaining the healthy momentum you just built up. 1. Set exercise goals and stick to them.

You have to figure out what works best for your body, whether that’s working out twice a week or getting a daily dose of exercise. When you hone in on your workout rhythm, hold yourself accountable. We all dread working out some days, but we rarely regret getting a good sweat in once we’re finished. If you need extra accountability, sign up for a Flywheel class with a friend (or a few!) and make it a fun group activity.

2. Reinforce your hard work, don’t reverse it.

While we do believe in treating yourself once in a while, remember that no matter how busy you are, it’s not worth trashing your progress by scarfing down a bunch of junk. 3. Reevaluate and rebalance when you need to.
