How Model Elsa Hosk Preps for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Model Elsa Hosk is busy preparing for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, airing December 9th.   One of her favorite ways to tone and strengthen for the runway is a sweaty session on the mat at FlyBarre. Read her interview here: 

On Instagram, you mention that FlyBarre is one of your favorite workouts. What do you love most about it?
I love that I see results after just one hour! I love the format, it works every part of your body. The seat-work is killer, and I feel so good afterwards. The workout is designed to make the body long and lean, and it’s a perfect complement to indoor cycling.

How do you fit in workouts with your busy schedule?
If I’m in NYC, I try to go every day. There really are no excuses, it’s my job to be fit and healthy. It makes all the travelling easier when you feel strong. My motivation is how I feel when working out verses when I don’t, and it’s always worth it.

What’s currently on your workout playlist?
Hip-hop, and rock and roll!

We read in a recent article that you love to cook and eat! What are some of your favorite dishes to make?
My best dish is probably Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, cream sauce and lingonberries! I’m also obsessed with tomatoes. I love making fried eggs and tomatoes for breakfast, and Spanish gazpacho for lunch.

What is your go-to healthy snack?
The Vital Force smoothie from Juice Press.

What do you put in your gym bag to keep you looking so incredible all day long?
I love that workout clothes have become so cool. I wear a lot of Victoria’s Secret Sport and VS PINK yoga gear. Their workout gear makes me look and feel sporty.

What are you looking forward to most about the VS show this year?
Walking in the Victoria’s Secret and PINK sections and getting my wings for the first time! I can’t wait!

What is the one place in London that everyone must visit?
I love strolling around Notting Hill and checking out all the vintage shops in London.
