FlyRx is a 6-week fitness program for members and at-home riders that features studio and on demand workouts (access is complimentary!) to help you achieve targeted results. Here are some key dates:

TRACK YOUR RESULTS!
While a scale comes in handy for measuring overall weight loss, a tape measure is a great tool to track body composition changes. Here’s how to do it—all you need is a tape measure!
  • Waist – Measure your natural waist or the narrowest part of your torso.
  • Hips – This is the widest part of your glutes. Try looking in a mirror  and standing sideways to ensure the tape is parallel to the floor.
  • Arms – Stand up straight with the arms relaxed and measure the midpoint between the shoulder bone and the elbow of one arm.
  • Thighs – Measure around the widest part of the thigh, the midpoint between the lower part of your glutes and the back of the knee.

While the excitement of a new fitness journey can kickstart your progress, the real challenge is maintaining momentum when your motivation isn’t sky-high—and yep, it happens to the best of us! We’ve got your back. Here’s how to set yourself up for success so you can start strong and stay strong.

  1. Track Your Progress

Right about now, you’re looking for results—fast. But what do you do when progress starts to plateau? Focus on performance. Whether it’s tracking your Current or Torq during a Flywheel ride or timing your run pace, achieving a performance goal will make you feel incredibly accomplished, which will keep you going back for more.

It’s also important to remember not to cling to the scale. While initial weight loss can motivate you, it can also be discouraging if you’re not progressing as quickly as you’d like. Remember, fitness is about how you feel, so focus on your energy and mood and visible results will follow.

  1. Find Your ‘Happy Place’

Your gym or studio should inspire you to leave any feelings of intimidation at the door. Some prefer working out in a gritty weight room, others like the vibe of a dark indoor cycling stadium or a mirrored FlyBarre studio (hello, form check) with more personalized group training. Everyone is different, so explore your options and land on a space that motivates you to work your hardest.

  1. Join a Community

If you aren’t into crushing it alone, find like-minded individuals who are ready to support you. Runners, for example, often thrive in run clubs to have a pack to race alongside, and gym-goers power through bench sets with their buddies cheering them on through each rep.   1. Reward Yourself 

A healthy, fit body isn’t the only reward you’ll reap along the way. If you hit a major milestone in your journey—like getting a personal best Power Score—treat yourself to those workout leggings you’ve had your eye on or a new fitness tracker. Invest in items that feed into your fitness routine, and you’ll head back to the studio eager to test out your new gear.

  1. Make It Fun 

The bottom line? Find a workout you love, but switch things up to keep your routine fresh. For example, if you always clip in for a Method ride, ride to the rhythm in our athletic Tempo class. Already obsessed with FlyBarre? Get even stronger with heavier weights—and more sweat—in FlyFIT. Been crushing night rides? Set your alarm for morning classes for an energy spike that lasts the entire day.
